Following the adult KROSS Junior JR 1.0 blue models, we created the KROSS Junior. It is a recreational mountain bike designed for children, which will be perfect both when traveling to school and during weekend family trips outside the city. The Kross Junior 1.0 features adult technical solutions enclosed in a smaller frame adapted to kids' height.
The KROSS Junior 1.0 SR version for 2024 has undergone subtle changes to make it even more accessible to children. This year, the drivetrain is made of high-quality components supplied by Sunrace, enabling the child to ride comfortably in all conditions. It also offers numerous, smaller modifications to the frame structure, seemingly invisible at first glance, but significantly improving the comfort of riding.
The components are adapted to the child's needs
The components of the KROSS Junior 1.0 SR was based on the concept of 1x8 drivetrain. To create such a drivetrain, we used high-quality components supplied by Sunrace. This allowed us to create a drivetrain with an eight-row cassette that will allow the child to ride comfortably in any terrain. Thanks to this solution, the bike is characterized by minimalism and high aesthetics. A suspension fork with a 50mm travel was used in the bike to increase travel comfort. It has been specially developed for this bike. The KROSS Junior 1.0 SR features 24”wheels with high quality 1.9” Mitas Scylla V75 tires, which will ensure predictable bike behavior both in the city and off-road. It also features v-brakes, ensuring safe braking and trouble-free operation.
Technologies to keep you entertained every day
The KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 frame is made of performance aluminum. This is a special 6061 performance aluminum alloy, thanks to which the bike is stiff and resistant to breakage. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many cyclists with its properties. To make it easier for your child to get on and off the bike, we have lowered the standover height. In addition, the frame is powder coated, which translates into durability of painting and its resistance to mechanical damage.
